The classic massage, also called „Swedish Massage“, is the most popular form of massage worldwide. It was developed by Pehr Henrik Ling in Sweden and put in practise in Berlin by the orthopedic surgeon Dr. Albert Hoffa, Primarily for the immediate treatment of tense muscles and prevention.
The classic massage is also the massage of choice if you simply want to treat yourself to something lush and experience deep relaxation. By stroking, kneading, rubbing and stretching, the body is stimulated from the surface of the skin down to the joints. This creates a holistic, vital body feeling and stimulates the releasing of endorphins.
Ayurveda is translated from Sanskit from the term – knowledge of life. It is based on holistic thinking and touches every aspect of life from birth to death. The Indian teaching describes humans with three qualities. Vata stands for air, Pitta for Fire and Kapha for earth. Before the Abhyanga (full body massage), your constitution will be determined so that we can use the right healing oil for you. The beneficial herbs can pass on their stored information to your body cells and initiate their vitalization. Furthermore, by stimulating the lymphatic system, toxins and waste products will be released out of your system.
During the Ayurvedic massage, the so-called marmas and chakras (energy centers) of the recipient are specifically addressed. According to Ayurvedic understanding, marmas are certain vital points that are located in the body and are related to acupressure points. The Abhyanga is a very gentle, Flowing massage in which a lot of oil is used.

Shiatsu is traditionally practiced on a floor mat. It is an ancient Japanese bodywork which is based on TCM (Traditional Chinese medicine) further developed. During the treatment, the meridians and acupressure points (Tsubos, Jap.) are stimulated. The aim is to release blockages in the flow of life energy (Ki, Jap.) so that it can circulate freely again.
The treatment is based on gentle rhythmic techniques, energetic techniques as well as stretches and rotations. The therapist works out of the middle of his body (Hara, jap) by using his body weight. You will be treated with the fingers and the ball of the hand, as well as the fore, elbows and knees.
Shiatsu is a form of meditation for both the therapist and the recipient. It is deeply calming for both parties, through the ease of attention. This experience allows the recipient to open gates of perception and learn to listen to and understand your body through subtle adjustments.
This therapy profoundly changes your postural structure, Not only does it increase your momentary quality of life, it also aids one in preventing long term postural damage. Most people have a difference of 1 3cm between their legs. This is caused by the fact that the joint heads of the longer leg are not ideally located in the joint sockets. This in turn leads to a misalignment of the hip and a scoliosis of the spine.
By applying defined pressure while the client moves the joint to be treated at the same time, the Dorn method moves the joint back into its actual position. After the treatment, the legs are the same length. Then the hip is brought into vertical and horizontal symmetry. Finally, the spine will be straightened.
The Dorn-therapy can normally straighten your body symmetrically after one session. However, if your muscles have already adjusted to the misalignment, your poor posture will creep in again due to your asymmetrical muscles. Therefore, 3-7 treatments may be necessary for your muscles to adapt and maintain long-term symmetry in your body.
